By creating an account or using Vidimator (at vidimatr.com and api.vidimatr.com), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. What Vidimator Is
Vidimator turns a written script into a narrated, captioned, stock-footage video, automatically. You provide the script; we generate the narration, match footage to it, add captions, and deliver a video file.
2. Your Account
- You need an account to use Vidimator beyond the free public preview.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- One person or organization per account. Don't share login credentials to get around plan limits.
- You must provide an accurate email address — it's how we deliver password resets and important account notices.
3. Plans and Billing
Vidimator offers a free plan (Rough Cut) and two paid plans (Broadcast and Studio). Current features and limits are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.
| Plan | Price | Videos / Shorts per period | Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rough Cut (free) | $0 | 2 videos, no Shorts | Up to 2 min |
| Broadcast | $39/mo or $397.80/yr | 15 videos + 10 Shorts | Up to 15 min video, 60s Shorts |
| Studio | $70/mo or $714/yr | 50 videos + 30 Shorts | Up to 20 min video, 2 min Shorts |
Billing is prepaid, not a recurring subscription. When you pay for Broadcast or Studio, you're paying for a fixed period — 30 days for monthly, 365 days for yearly — not signing up for automatic renewal. We do not store your card and do not charge you again automatically. Payment is processed by Flutterwave, our third-party payment processor; we never see or store your card details.
What happens when your period ends: your account automatically returns to the free Rough Cut plan. There is nothing to cancel, because nothing renews on its own — if you want to keep your plan, you pay again before or after it lapses; if you don't, you're simply on the free plan until you do. Your account page always shows your plan's exact expiration date.
Yearly billing saves 15% compared to paying monthly for twelve months, charged as a single upfront payment covering the full year.
No refunds. Payments are final. If you upgrade or your period ends partway through, no partial refund is issued for unused time.
4. Your Content
You own what you submit and what you get back. Scripts you write, photos you upload, and videos we generate for you are yours. We don't claim ownership over them.
By submitting a script or uploading a photo, you confirm you have the right to use it — that it's yours, licensed to you, or otherwise legally usable, and that using it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or violate anyone's privacy.
Narration text is sent to Microsoft's Edge TTS service to generate the spoken audio, and footage search terms are sent to Pexels to find matching stock video. See our Privacy Policy for what that means for your data.
We may store your submitted scripts, uploaded photos, and generated videos temporarily to deliver the service (see retention periods in the Privacy Policy) and delete them automatically afterward.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Vidimator to generate content that:
- Is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
- Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material in any form
- Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or incitement to violence
- Impersonates a real person in a way intended to deceive or defame them
- Is used to generate spam, phishing content, or deliberate misinformation presented as fact
- Uses a photo of a real, identifiable person (Studio's custom image feature) without their consent, or in a way intended to harass, defame, or deceive
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without refund.
6. Content Accuracy
Vidimator generates video from whatever script you provide — it does not fact-check, verify, or endorse the content of your script. Scripts describing real events, especially in true-crime, historical, or investigative formats, are your responsibility to research and present accurately. Vidimator is a production tool, not a publisher or fact-checker.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep Vidimator running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Renders may occasionally fail, queue, or take longer than expected — particularly during periods of high demand. We're not liable for losses arising from downtime or delayed renders, though we'll always try to make it right.
8. Limitation of Liability
Vidimator is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, UA Tech Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost revenue from delayed or failed renders. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You can stop using Vidimator and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse of the platform (including attempts to circumvent plan limits or overload the service), or where required by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
